Diamond waterfall provides warm water mineral pools where you can enjoy a bath. The water is said to have age defying qualities to make even the aged look and feel young again. Once you’re in the water there is no telling what time you are going to get out. It is so tempting; you may end up staying the whole day. The water is always warm coming from the foot of the Sulphur Springs.

Soufrière's "Drive-In" Volcano - St. Lucia is home to the world's only "drive-in" volcano.  You can't really drive all the way into it, but you can get very close.  Located in the Sulphur Springs Park, the bubbling & steaming springs offer a reminder of how the lush islands of the Caribbean region were created.  Though the volcano is for the most part dormant, the park is constantly active with minor volcanic activity.  From there, a park guide will escort you up a short path to the viewing area.

Piton Falls - There is no telling why this waterfall is called piton falls. The water from it does not come from the world famous pitons; however, it may be because it is on the way to one of the pitons (Petit piton).

But who knows, many things in Soufriere are associated with these pitons. You can get there when you’re on your way to Jalousie. The water is always warm and refreshing no matter what time of the day you go there. The water comes from about 30 feet in the air and falls into a pool where people normally bath.

Choose any two of these tours for your Soufriere land excursion:

The Tet Paul Nature Trail is nestled on six acres of lush, verdant land in the farming community of Chateau Belair. The trail is located in the Piton Management Area, Saint Lucia’s World Heritage Site. Hiking the trail is like soaring heavenward on a beautiful, natural staircase. The hike is rated easy to moderate and is roughly 45 minutes long. The trail boasts some of the most spectacular views of the South of the island, the Jalousie Bay, Petit Piton and Gros Piton as well as Martinique and St. Vincent on clear days.  The Tet Paul Nature Trail is undoubtedly the gateway to heaven.

Choose any two of these tours to add to your Soufriere package. Each additional tour is US$5.00 extra e.g for all 4 tours add US$10.00 per person.

St. Lucia offers some of the finest snorkeling in the region.

Because the island is volcanic in nature there are spectacular coral reefs, trenches, caverns and walls all nestled with an array of Caribbean reef fish. These sites can be found literally within a stone throw from most of the beaches along the sheltered west coast with the more popular sites located within the marine reserve areas.

Rates include Hotel/Dock taxi/boat transfers, lunch, mask, fins, snorkel and snorkel vest.

Perhaps some of the most distinctive features on this trail are the abundance of large spectacular fig trees, epiphytes and ferns. This 5 km (3 miles) long trail begins as a gentle slope through natural dense foliage meandering among L'encens trees (Protium attenuatum) that produces a white sap with a highly pungent smell. Also common is the majestic Chataignier tree, which is supported by a system of elegant buttresses spreading around its base like the gentle folds of a regal gown.

Includes Hotel/Dock transfers, water and guide. Comfortable walking shoes are mandatory. This is a strenuous climb and not an excursion for those with heart ailments, are pregnant or not physically fit.

ALL ABOUT ST LUCIA LOCATIONS

Marigot Bay has been photographed so many times that first time tourists often experience a jolt of recognition. Not surprising. This peaceful landscape of swaying palms and sparkling clear water also caught the eye of film makers who used the bay as a location for the filming of the original Dr Dolittle starring Rex Harrison in 1967.

Rat Island is a  a tract of land, smaller than a continent, surrounded by water at high water.

Pigeon Island, a 40-acre islet connected by a causeway to St. Lucia's west coast, is a beautiful nature park which reflects a thousand years of history. There are marked trails with a number of historical sites, like the remains of an 18th-century British fort and Fort Rodney, where the Admiral for which it is named spied on the French ships from its strategic viewpoint . The island also has two secluded beaches and is the major venue of St. Lucia's annual Jazz Festival.

Anse Cochon, a remote dark-sand beach is reached only by boat, kayaking or via 1-mi-long (1½-km-long) access road. The water and adjacent reef are superb for swimming, diving, and snorkeling.

The Anse La Liberte site consists of 133 acres of land marked by sloping terain. A 45-minute drive from the capital Castries, this only existing site boasts of trails and its own secluded stretch of beach. The site is equiped with tents, cooking, bathing and washing facilities. Come and enjoy quality service at the Bay of Freedom Site (Anse La Liberte)
